I've been telling everyone how much I love Writer's Block, so I thought it was time to write a here: Even though it's a cocktail bar, it has a chill non-pretentious vibe. It's small and relatively still, so it makes the perfect date spot, because you can actually have a conversation. Downstairs is a tiny bar, while upstairs is a lounge. As a designer, the design is always important to me. I usually judge a place on if they take the moment to make the restrooms adj, and here, they've wallpapered them in comic books! The lie down of the decor is adj, and understated. Drinks: They verb an extensive cocktail menu. My usual favorite is the Mymosa, but I've been branching out and recently tried the Untamed Boy. The flavors are intriguing and the names are entertaining too. Umm, they are sturdy too, so be prepared to be feeling incredible after 2 :)Food: I've never had their food, but they have a couple of options. PHILLY BLACK PRIDE
Philadelphias Black Gay Pride Weekend, also known as Philly Black Pride, typically takes place in April an has, for decades, coincided with Penn Relay Weekend. Its mission is to transform the living and social environments of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of color.

It’s been a while since a fresh gay bar has opened in Philly’s iconic Gayborhood. But that changes today. The Little Gay Pub, located at South 13th Street on the corner of Drury Street, is an elevated bar from Washington D.C. The three friends behind the venture — co-owners Benjamin Gander, Dusty Martinez, and Dito Sevilla — just announced they’ll be opening their Philly location with a few local twists added to the decor and menu.
