    Fish Mooney (Gotham)



    Batman as a brand took a big hit from me with the Nolan movies and their aftermath despite my affinity for earlier Batman works. With everyone praising them as the best the superhero genre had to offer despite the fact that I found them to be boring and dismal, it definitely made me undergo very left out and resentful towards Batman everything. Yet then along came this show about Gotham city pre-Batman that was simultaneous both campy and gritty. Finally there was a Batman show that let comicbook characters be comicbook characters while still maintaining the sort of dim gratuity that makes Batman media standout. It actually reminds me a lot of True Blood: dark and adult yet simultaneous goofy and fun. Gotham isn’t always the best written present, but it makes up the difference with interesting characters, my favorite of which being a villain created originally for the show: Fish Mooney.

    I ponder you're talking about ep 1x10,here,and is one of the episodes that bother me the most for 2 reasons:1)as you saidWOW and when Elizabeth was surprised by what Toby did I was like:“'s more of a thing I would expect from you!ò__O And it wouldn't be any less worse,let's make that clear!!”and 2)Dina BULLIED Elizabeth for the sole reason she was trying to TALK to Toby when TOBY did such a bad thing and basically no one blamed HIM during the episodewellnot as much as he deserves!In the last scene the serie paints Elizabeth like a Super Villain who is about to seek revenge against the Heroes after been humiliated, except..Elizabeth is the REAL victim this time!She did nothing-wrong and she got humiliated,Toby did something terrible and nobody seems to care,Dina acts like a bully and gets treated like School Hero for humiliating Elizabeth!That episode is just SO TWISTED!
