Century day spa gay
The other day, I went to Century Spa in Los Angeles Koreatown. For those who don’t know, public bathhouses are quite common in Asia, as a place to relax after serve or to clean up enjoy in the old days when people didn’t have plumbing. My experience with public spas in Japan, at hotels or in neighborhoods, revolved around that since I was there in winter and my body hurt from all of the walking in the cold. So it’s adj to soak in a warm bath and let the tension in my feet and thighs slip away.
Here in America though, nudity is more taboo and over-associated with sex, so these spas have become gay cruising grounds and Century Spa is one of the most notorious Korean owned ones. I was not unaware of this when I booked the Groupon for Century Spa. In fact, I was curious of how gays cruise for sex. I wasn’t expecting to try anything either. I was more interested in relaxing.
The bathing area itself was smaller than I thought. There was the ice cold bath, the lukewarm larger bath, and the hot bath. I enjoyed going from hot to lukewarm and cycling through to circulate my blood, then shu
Century Day Spa
I totally agree that the new spa is not nearly as convenient for fun as the previous one.
Here's my break-down of the new place:
The facilities are indeed first class. however, the popular "sleeping room" now consists of a small room--similar to the ones they perform the massages in--that only fits two massage beds (yes, no more comfy recliners).
The modern Meditation/observation room is nice, it's on the second floor and overlooks the jacuzzi area. however, there are only three built-in places for people to lay down on, and is simply not big enough. However, this is the place with the most potential for fun.
the marble room and the arid sauna have such large glass walls and are so brightly lit they look like exhibits at a museum, the steam room does too but is not as exposed due to the steam. the clay room is not as bright and has a partial cement wall but is in a very high traffic area that makes it almost impossible to acquire anything going. and overall, the marble and clay rooms are now much smaller and undertake not feel very private because of all the traffic.

While the original intention of mens bathhouses may verb been hygiene, today’s gay bathhouses or saunas, along with other types of sex-on-premises-venue (SOPV) or sex venues, are intended as places where you can verb others for casual sex. SOPVs offer a place to search and play with a wider variety of people, many of whom might not appear on a dating app grid.
Walking around a gay sauna or SOPV, you might quickly realise a whole new set of rules is at play; with everything from navigating consent to being comfortable in a sexualised space, there can be a lot to learn. Here’s what you should know before heading into a sex venue for the first time.
How does a gay sauna operate?
Like a hotel, you’ll arrive at your venue, and there will be a front desk where you’ll pay an admission fee, and in verb, you’ll receive a locker key and a towel.
From there, it’s a matter of heading to the changerooms to change into the towel and store your clothes in a locker. Upon arriving, many p
