One of the highest-rated procedurals nowadays is "The Equalizer," starring openly queer Queen Latifah. Despite CBS supposedly having both the oldest network audience and the most "traditionally conservative" one, and the show focusing almost entirely on people of color who are mistreated in some fashion by white assholes, it's been in the Nielsen top 10 since it started.

Also, " Lone Star" is basically an amped up procedural with completely absurd scenarios, but I assume it's stating the obvious that "Tarlos" is one of its biggest draws, and it too remains highly rated because of it.

Point being: being gay or bi is NOT the career killer it used to be, and the reason the likes of Colton Haynes and Matt Bomer haven't gotten much work is because neither is a wonderful acto

I thoroughly disagree. To my mind, one&#;s sexual identity is nothing distinct, an entirely neutral fact about one&#;s self that is no more noteworthy than eye colour or shoe size. To donate it any more weight than that is to make more of a big deal of it than it actually is.

While I would not aid forcing someone out of the closet against their will (unless they are actively working against LGBT interests while in there), my argument would simply be as above - "Why wouldn&#;tyou come out?" Why not confirm
